Responsibilities and duties of the Senior Design Engineer role
Reporting to the Senior Design Engineer you will:
* Lead complex engineering projects from concept stage through to the delivery and installation.
* Liaise with shop floor staff, engineers, and clients.
* Design and modify bespoke products
* Provide technical consultation with customers to determine project specifications.
* Manage and coordinate projects from design to delivery.
* Critical path management to meet deadlines and quality standards.
Professional qualifications
We are looking for someone with the following:
* Experience in large, heavy engineering project management, including machinery build, mechanical handling or rotary machinery.
* Qualified to Degree Level or HNC as a minimum.
* Ability to use SolidWorks and/or Inventor
* Working knowledge of MathCAD would be beneficial.
proven ability to work on projects from initial design to final commissioning.
