Job Title: Clinical Pharmacist (Band 8a)
Location: Lancashire - easily commutable from Merseyside
Duration: 12-month maternity cover
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:45am - 5:00pm
Start Date: June 2025
End Date: June 2026
Rate of Pay: �27-�37 per hour, depending on banding and experience

What You'll Be Doing:
In this specialist role, you'll:
Take ownership of clinical pharmacy services across maternity, gynae and paediatric wards
Be the clinical lead for Women's, Children's & Neonatology - supporting staff and fielding advanced queries
Work closely with MDTs to improve outcomes for vulnerable patient groups
Support and guide rotational pharmacists , sharing your expertise
Lead on governance initiatives , driving quality and safety across your service area
What You'll Need:
GPhC registration as a Pharmacist
Significant hospital experience - ideally in paeds, women's health, and neonatology
Excellent clinical knowledge and confidence managing complex queries
Strong communication skills and a team-first approach
Passion for improving patient care and supporting NHS excellence
