We have an exciting opportunity for an individual to join our Liverpool FC team as aSenior Manager, 3PL Logistics Contract. You will be responsible for managing UPS and their 3PL fulfilment operations across Europe, with the potential for future expansion.This role will oversee all aspects of the 3PL contract, including forecasting, expenditure management, service level agreements (SLAs), project implementation, and customer service coordination. The 3PL Contract Manager will work closely with internal stakeholders and external logistics providers to ensure optimal fulfilment operations, cost efficiency, and high service levels.What will you be doing?3PL Contract & Performance ManagementOwn and manage the 3PL contract with UPS, ensuring compliance with agreed SLAs, service quality, and operational efficiency.Conduct regular contract reviews and negotiate amendments as required to improve service performance and cost-effectiveness.Track and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for 3PL operations, addressing any underperformance and identifying areas for improvement.Manage the financial aspects of the 3PL contract, including budgeting, cost control, and invoice reconciliation.Operational Oversight & Logistics CoordinationOversee the day-to-day operations of 3PL fulfilment sites, ensuring smooth and efficient warehouse and distribution activities.Develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance order fulfilment speed, accuracy, and customer satisfaction.Coordinate stock movements between fulfilment centres to optimise inventory availability and distribution efficiency.Manage escalations related to fulfilment and logistics, resolving issues promptly and effectively with 3PL partners.Forecasting & Capacity PlanningWork closely with demand planning and merchandising teams to ensure accurate forecasting and stock replenishment at 3PL sites.Plan for seasonal fluctuations and peak trading periods, ensuring the 3PL provider has sufficient capacity and resources.Develop and maintain reporting tools to track inventory levels, order volumes, and fulfilment rates, enabling data-driven decision-making.Project Management & Process ImprovementsLead new projects related to logistics expansion, system integration, and operational enhancements within the 3PL network.Drive automation and process optimisation initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.Collaborate with IT and operational teams to integrate new technologies and improve order fulfilment workflows.Customer Service & Stakeholder EngagementAct as the primary liaison between internal teams and the 3PL provider, ensuring seamless communication and issue resolution.Support customer service teams via Freshdesk, providing timely updates and resolutions for fulfilment-related queries.Conduct regular site visits to 3PL fulfilment centres across Europe to review operations, ensure compliance, and build strong partnerships with logistics providers.Who are we looking for?To be successful in this role, you will have in-depth knowledge of third-party logistics (3PL) operations, fulfilment processes and warehouse management. You will have strong understanding of contract management, including SLA negotiations, performance tracking, and cost control. You will have familiarity with supply chain forecasting and capacity planning methodologies.Why should you apply?This is a full-time perm position working35hours per week.
