In this key role, you’ll monitor, manage, and support the performance and availability of our IT infrastructure, ensuring optimal digital service delivery across our estate.What You’ll Be DoingProactively monitor Compass UK&I’s IT estate using multiple tools to assess performance and capacity across network, cloud, server, and application layers.Collaborate with third-party NOC teams to ensure aligned service delivery.Identify, log, and track incidents, escalating issues where required to internal and external stakeholders.Continuously enhance monitoring processes and services to minimise downtime and maximise system resilience.Support in implementing security updates and resolving vulnerabilities.Work closely with the wider Digital & Technology teams to support Compass’s digital transformation.Generate reports and maintain service levels within defined SLAs.Contribute to the discovery and management of IT assets across the business.What We’re Looking ForMinimum 1 year’s experience in a Network Operations Centre or IT Service Desk environment.Practical knowledge of infrastructure monitoring tools (e.g. Nagios).Understanding of network, cloud, and server technologies.Awareness of IT security fundamentals and experience with vulnerability management.Strong technical documentation and process creation skills.Familiarity with asset discovery and management processes.Relevant certifications such as ITIL are desirable.Experience or understanding of data technologies (data lakes, analytical layers) is a plus.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills – a true team player.Why Compass?Be part of a forward-thinking digital team that embraces innovation and continuous improvement.Work on pioneering tech initiatives that redefine customer engagement.Career progression through MyLearning and Career Pathways.Excellent company benefits including:Contributory pension schemeDigital GP access for you and your familyDiscounts on major brands (Tesco, Expedia, cinema tickets, and more)Wellness and mindfulness resourcesReward points scheme and referral bonusesIf you’re ready to grow your career in a collaborative, fast-paced tech environment, and make a real impact on digital transformation across one of the UK’s largest service organisations — apply today!
