An opportunity has arisen for an Ecologist to join a well-established property consultancy. This role offers a salary of £27,500 and benefits.
As an Ecologist, you will carry out a range of habitat and species surveys, supporting biodiversity net gain through practical and evidence-led ecological consultancy.
You will be responsible for:
- Conducting ecological surveys across a variety of project types and sectors.
- Supporting project delivery with accurate data collection and technical input.
- Writing ecological reports and assessments to a professional standard.
- Working collaboratively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Communicating ecological insights effectively across clients and project partners.
What we are looking for:
- Previously worked as an Ecologist, Ecological Consultant, Ecological Surveyor or in a similar role.
- Background in ecological consultancy or a similar environment.
- Practical experience conducting ecological field surveys.
- Degree-level qualification (or equivalent) in ecology or a closely related discipline.
- Sound knowledge of UK environmental legislation and policy.
- CIEEM member or working towards membership of a recognised professional body with a code of conduct.
- Full UK driving licence.
