Responsibilities and duties of the Electrical and Instrumentation Technician role
Reporting to the E/I Supervisor, you will:

Carry out fault diagnosis and maintenance of electrical and instrumentation assets
*
Support operations across maintenance, civil, technical, and contractor management functions
*
Maintain accurate records using a Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
*
Write and implement operational procedures and work instructions
*
Ensure all activities comply with safety and environmental standards
*
Take on authorised roles under site safety rules
*
Lead teams in a hands-on capacity during the absence of the team leader
Professional qualifications
We are looking for someone with the following:
*
Time-served electrician with an apprenticeship and FETAC Level 6 (or equivalent)
*
At least 3 years' experience in electrical/control and instrumentation maintenance
*
Knowledge of HV, MV and LV systems, and E&I control systems
*
Proficient IT and communication skills with the ability to manage priorities
