Panel Wirer - 6-Month Contract / Temp-to-Perm Opportunity
Location: Cheshire
Rate: �22-�24 per hour (Outside IR35 - Ltd Co. / Umbrella / PAYE)
Duration: Initial 6-month contract Or Temp to permanent
Start Date: Immediate start available
Hours: 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday (early finish on Fridays)
Join a Leading Engineering Firm
A respected and long-established engineering company in Cheshire is looking for skilled Panel Wirers to join their team. Due to a surge in new projects, this is a great opportunity to secure a long-term contract with the possibility of a permanent role.
Key Duties
* Build, rework, and repair PCBs
* Terminate cable assemblies (RF, power, and data cables)
* Cabinet, rack, and box wiring
* Crimping and soldering (22awg to 10awg cable)
* Read and interpret wiring diagrams and engineering drawings
* Assemble mechanical racks and integrated systems
* Conduct inspections and testing of finished assemblies
* Maintain high standards of accuracy and quality
Required Skills & Experience
* Time-served electrician or NVQ Level 3 in a relevant field
* Solid background in electro-mechanical assembly and cable integration
* Ability to work from complex drawings and schematics
* IPC 610/620 or J-STD certifications (desirable)
* Previous manufacturing experience
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Contract Highlights
* Outside IR35 - Ltd Company, Umbrella, or PAYE options
* On-site role only
* Flexible working hours across 4.5 days (early Friday finish)
