Join our dynamic team in a part-time permanent role as a 2nd/3rd Line Applications Support Analyst and play a pivotal role in supporting our systems and applications. This second-line position involves handling technical and complex calls escalated from the helpdesk. As the first point of contact within the Applications Support team, you'll provide expert technical support for critical IT applications used by the Council. You’ll manage queues of support calls, handle incidents and service requests, and provide technical guidance to users and colleagues alike. You’ll also contribute to maintaining technical documentation and support materials.You’ll have the chance to work with a wide range of services including Adult Social Care, Children’s Services, Education, Housing, and Regulatory Services - no two days will be the same. You’ll also support wider project teams with tasks such as software updates, change control processes, and system testing.About youAs an Applications Support Analyst, you have a knack for delving into complex issues and finding effective solutions through thorough analysis of available information. You approach challenges with composure and a methodical mindset, ensuring tasks are handled thoughtfully and efficiently.
