Here\'s what you need to know before applying:Your key responsibilities will include:Ensure you are aware of & comply with all client & company health & safety procedures and standards at all timesComplete, maintain and update all Food Safety and Health & Safety paperwork correctly when requiredMaintain the cleanliness of all kitchens, storerooms, fridges, and surrounding working areas ensuring Health and Safety hazards, issues, near misses, and accidents are reported using the appropriate reporting procedures at the earliest opportunityEnsure the correct storage, control and use of all machinery and equipment, cleaning materials and relevant chemicalsResponsible for the control, issue and receipt of all food deliveriesProcess orders via nominated systems and use the correct approved Compass vendorsCheck invoices and delivery notes and report any anomalies to your line managerSupervise the receipt, correct storage, and quality of food supply and report any concerns or observations to your line managerUnloading deliveries, and rotating the stockLoading cages and pushing wheeled trolleys and cages to allocate the stock to various storeroomsOur ideal Porter/Stores Person will:Be adaptable and easily embrace changing prioritiesBe a brilliant communicator and easily build relationshipsHave experience delivering high quality customer careTake initiative and make decisions that are right for our customersPossess the ability to work under pressureDemonstrate exceptional timekeeping and reliabilityRestaurant Associates provides brilliant hospitality through our food, drink and services.
