Astute’s Nuclear team is partnering with a large multi-function nuclear site in Cumbria, active in nuclear waste processing, storage, and decommissioning to recruit a Power Systems Design Engineer on a 12 month contract for its Warrington office.
The Power Systems Design Engineer role comes with a day rate up to �700.
Key skills required for the Power Systems Design Engineer role
* 5+ years in a similar power systems design position
* Degree educated (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering or related subject
* Knowledge of BS 60909 Faul Calculations and ETAP modelling software
* Protection and control systems experience (11kV and 400V)
* 11kV and 400V substation design
* Minimum of grade C in English and Maths GCSE

* Hybrid working between Warrington and home.
