What You'll Be Doing: Join our GP surgery client's team as a Pharmacy Dispenser and support essential healthcare delivery in a busy GP surgery. In this role, you will:
Dispense prescriptions accurately and efficiently
Work closely with GPs and pharmacists to support the repeat prescription process
Advise patients on medication use in line with NHS guidance
Ensure stock control and maintain a well-organised dispensary
Assist in administrative tasks such as labelling, ordering, and record-keeping
Deliver excellent customer service to patients, maintaining professionalism and confidentiality
Requirements & Qualifications: To be successful in this role, you will need:
NVQ Level 2 in Pharmacy Services (preferred but not essential)
Previous dispensing experience in a GP surgery, community pharmacy, or similar setting
Strong communication and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team
A commitment to patient care and service delivery
Working Hours & Contract Duration: This role offers a flexible working position and requires availability Monday to Friday , with 4 or 5 days per week preferred. The contract is ongoing with a strong possibility of extension based on performance and service needs. Free parking available on-site.
