About the Company
ATA Recruitment are working with an International, highly profitable and stable manufacturing company who are looking for a maintenance engineer who enjoys working in a team and is ready to take on a methodical and inquisitive, hands-on role to find and overcome the various mechanical and electrical challenges within a manufacturing environment.
As a maintenance engineer in this role, you will be maintaining mechanical components such as bearings, shafts, gearboxes, pneumatics, and hydraulics. You will also maintain electrical components such as AC/DC drives, relays, switches, and contactors.
You will be expected to:
* React to breakdowns.
* Planned Preventative Maintenance.
* Electrical and Mechanical fault finding.
* Basic PLC fault finding.
* Replace electrical components.
* Replace and rebuild mechanical components.
About you
To be considered for this maintenance engineer role you should be/have the following:
* Team player who can communicate effectively.
* Ability to fault find electrically and mechanically.
* A proactive work ethic
* Be happy to work 3-Shifts
* You should hold a recognised level 3 (or above) engineer qualification city and guilds, NVQ, BTEC, HND, HNC.
