We’re hiring for a support worker in …   Seeking support workers for/in …  Do you enjoy working with children and young adults?   We’re looking for outgoing, active and dynamic individuals with a can-do attitude and a desire to help someone live a full life!   As a children and young adult support worker, you’ll be flexible to support across a week. This can include weekends, support after school and in the school holidays. Lots of fun and engaging activities are planned for the people we support such as surfing, BBQ beach days and swimming.   The support you provide will be centred around each person’s values, preferences and needs which could include taking someone for a sports lesson or help parents during the school holidays. You may need to support with personal care and medication needs.   No day is ever the same, visit our website for more information.  Full UK driving license required. Benefits: Sleep-ins paid at £60 extra (basic salary £12.44 - £12.70p/h)   Full training to gain the nationally recognised Care Certificate.  Time to complete training is paid  We cover the cost of DBS checks   Rota&s are planned in advance.   Successfully &recommend a friend& to join us and you&ll receive a thank-you payment     You will: Have good communication skills    Have a positive and patient approach  Be resilient and respect people’s differences  Be able to build professional relationships   Be a confident problem solver and creative thinker  Work well as part of a team  If you have experience of working with children or young people, that’s even better.    Your responsibilities:  To empower the people, we support to live the lives they want to lead  To develop daily living skills.  Support the people we support to access their communities for socialisation, employment, training or friendships  To contribute to, develop and implement the individuals care plans.  To communicate effectively and professionally with people we support, their family members, and external professionals.  Maintain the health needs of the individuals we support
