Are you a dynamic and innovative scientist ready to make a significant impact in the field of development? Are you eager to contribute to a thriving team? Look no further! We are actively seeking a talented Development Scientist to join our dynamic team in Oak Tree House, BB18 6JZ!

As a Development Scientist, you'll be tasked with conducting laboratory work to develop and validate analytical methods in line with regulatory standards. You'll have the responsibility of overseeing your projects, ensuring accurate record-keeping according to company procedures, and coordinating activities with operations to execute sample and testing plans for regulatory projects. Following protocols, attending client meetings, and supporting audits will be part of your duties, as well as aiding in quality investigations as needed. You'll also be expected to engage in self-learning in emerging markets and share knowledge to foster a culture of rapid learning. Analysing and validating scientific data, and effectively communicating hypotheses through both written and verbal channels are essential aspects of the role. Your ability to thrive in both regulated and agile environments, such as GMP and ISO 17025, will be crucial for success.

Hours of Work: 40 hrs. Monday - Friday 8-hour days. 30 min lunch break.

Development Scientist Requirements:

* Degree in analytical chemistry or related subject.
* 2 or more years' experience in a regulated analytical chemistry laboratory
* Industry experience of analytical method development and validation
* Hands-on experience of using GC, HPLC, MS and a CDS
* Computer literate. Competent user of standard 'office' applications

Desirable:

* Experience of method development/validation in a regulated environment
* Understanding of regulatory requirements such as ICH guidelines, GMP etc
* Able to troubleshoot problematic separations
* Experience with statistics packages
* E&L knowledge
