As a Customer Service Administrator at HMNB Portsmouth, you will support HMNB helpdesk and respond to enquires, allocate sports & accommodation bookings and support general administration where required.
What you’ll do:
Answer incoming calls to HMNB Portsmouth HelpDesk and respond promptly.
Liaise with internal and external customers
Assign all queries to appropriate manager through SMS system.
Assist in accommodation and sports bookings
Support with the cover of annual leave and/or sickness of staff within team.
Process all information with discretion and strict confidentiality in order to comply with data protection and other security requirements
Continue to develop one’s own skills and knowledge within the position, including any required training courses
Maintain excellent client/customer relationships
Attend team briefs, huddles and meetings as required
Attend your performance development review to discuss job standards and agree development activities
Maintain a clean and tidy work area at all times
Maintain high levels of personal hygiene and wear the appropriate uniform as required
Care for all available resources including equipment, materials and supplies as directed
Report any near miss occurrences, accidents or faulty equipment to management
Ensure effective communication with line manager, team, customer and client organisation
Maintain all areas of responsibility to the set service standards and in line with applicable service offer
To carry out any other reasonable tasks and/or instructions as directed by management
What you bring:
Good verbal and written communication skills
Good knowledge of Microsoft applications
Strong organisation and time management skills
Able to build relationships at all levels within the organisation and externally with sub contractors and the client
