adi Projects Process Engineer - Oil and Gas Bias
About the Role
As an Oil & Gas biassed Process Engineer, you will process engineering services that complement the full range of the adi group capability.
Specifically, your responsibilities will include:
* Assisting with the development of project opportunities from concept through to handover
* Site surveys
* Liaising with customers to agree the parameters for their project scope (product range, capacity, efficiency, etc.)
* Process engineering activities associated with scheme development, and engineering scope determination, including, but not limited to:
* Development of, and control for PFD/P&ID/HMB
* Input into General Arrangements
* Sizing of FCV, pumps and heat exchangers
* Preparation of equipment data sheets, selection of equipment & vendor liaison
* Planning and managing in-house adi Group resources allocated to a project.
* Planning and managing subcontract resources associated with a project.
* Preparing estimates and prices for work opportunities
* Owning the P&L in areas given the responsibility
* Providing customer-facing business development support
* Sales support
* Site management support
* Working closely with senior members of the adi Projects team and stakeholders
* Managing own projects where the opportunity arises
* Undertaking additional tasks in conjunction with other project managers
About You
We would like to hear from you if you have:
* Extensive experience in Process/Project Engineering
* Knowledge of Piping Systems/B31.3/ASME VIII
* Have experience of scheme development, engineering scope determination
* Be able to be flexible within the broad remit of the post.
* Have stakeholder management experience.
* Have experience carrying out any other reasonable projects, tasks or duties to support the business as directed by line management.
