Job Title: Food Services AssistantLocation:Norfolk, PE31 6RHHours:24 Hours Per weekShift Pattern: Monday - Thursday 7:00am to 1:30pm with occasional weekend overtimeSalary:£13.45 per hour + Sodexo rewards and benefitsAbout the RoleWe are seeking amotivated and reliable Catering Assistant to support the daily operations ofour catering services.You will play a key role in delivering high-quality foodservice while maintaining excellent standards of cleanliness, hygiene, andcustomer care.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist with all aspects of food preparation, presentation, and service in line with Sodexo standardsDeliver a friendly, polite, and efficient service to customers across all catering areasEnsure food is prepared and served in a clean and hygienic environmentServe customers at counters and operate the till when required, including cash handling and end-of-service reconciliationComplete all necessary sales controls and documentation in line with compliance standardsMaintain high standards of personal hygiene, appearance, and performance at all timesCarry out cleaning duties including equipment, utensils, kitchen areas, and dining spaces according to cleaning schedulesEnsure service counters are stocked and replenished throughout service periodsKeep tables, service areas, and restaurant floors clean, tidy, and well-presentedRefill and maintain vending machines within the restaurant areaPrepare service areas for the next shift, including setting up cutlery and crockeryAssist with staff rostering if required, ensuring all service areas are adequately coveredUndertake routine cleaning such as sweeping and mopping floors dailyWhy Sodexo?:Working with Sodexois more than a job; it’s a chance to be part of something greater.Belong in a company andteam that values you for you.
